This image was made with inspiration from Andy Warhol. I wanted to recreate the beautiful piece he did of Marilyn Monroe. It was kind of hard to achieve the look of screen printing on photoshop but after about four hours I came up with the solution and this is the result. I colored in the picture using tertiary colors. Tertiary colors are the resulting color formed when an equal amount of a primary and a secondary color are mixed. The primary and secondary color must be beside each other on the color wheel. For example, a mixture of 50-percent red and 50-percent magenta would result in the tertiary color of orange. The background and eye shadow the same blue-green color. While the skin, hair and eyes are two different tones of a yellow-orange color. Lastly, the lips are a red-orange.
This is another image created using the same method. The only thing different about this image, is that it is colored in using only the primary colors. The primary colors are red, blue and yellow. These colors can be combined to bake any other color that you need.
