For this project, the vizzie, plug-in’s were my best friend. To begin, I shot the footage of me that I needed. I had an idea of what I wanted to accomplish because I was doing a Monica Duncan inspired piece. The piece that I decided to pay homage to was the pice she called “Hundred Hands”. So, after this ,the first thing I did in Max was to create a vz.playr. There is where I dragged and dropped the media I decided to work with. Next, I went in and added a vz.fractalizr. I did this because I know I wanted to be able to change how many times the video output was going to be displayed on the screen. Then I went into the vizzie tab on the left and went to effects and added the DELAYR. This delays the video and you can change the the crossfade to see multiple frames of the video happening at the same time but they are delayed as the name would suggest. Lastly, I connect the DELAYR to a VIEWR. The screen was not as big as I had wanted it so I did some research to find out how to change it. I found that if you go to the vizzie tab then in there got to PRESET and then drag and drop STARTER on to your canvas it allows you to change the VIEWR to what ever you want.
